<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stream data transmission apparatus, a stream data reception apparatus, and a stream data transmission/reception system capable of continuing decoding by synchronizing a receiver side with a transmitter side even on the occurrence of a packet loss in network transmission of data encrypted using a random number stream. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission apparatus 11 divides an input stream into a plurality of block data, generates a random number by a number of times on the basis of a data size of each block data to generate encrypted data, assembles the encrypted data and an accumulated data size of the transmission data whose transmission to the reception apparatus 21 is finished into one packet data and transmits the packet data, the reception apparatus 21 extracts the encrypted data and the accumulated data size by each received packet data via a network 31 to detect a packet loss by comparing the accumulated data size with the number of times of generated random numbers stored in a random number generating times storage section 26, and the system is configured to take synchronization between the transmission apparatus 11 and the reception apparatus 21 in response to the packet loss. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
