PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board use monitor mounting device and its mounting structure capable of mounting an on-board monitor in the central part of the cabin ceiling surface simply without damaging the vehicle even of such a type that equipment S for vehicle such as an air-conditioner is installed in the central part of the cabin ceiling surface. SOLUTION: The on-board use monitor mounting device 10 is equipped with a base table body 12 having an approximately channel-shaped fixation part 18 folded to the side with a step part D and a hanging part 20 for installing hangingly a monitor mounting metal piece 50 to be attached to the on-board monitor M. When legs 18a as the folded ends of the fixation part 18 are inserted to apertures H1 and H2 and fixed to the vehicle equipment S, extension parts 22a and 24a of a ceiling surface side hanging part 22 and a cabin inside hanging part 24 constituting the hanging part 20 will be arranged in the central part of the cabin ceiling surface.
