The cheek has an immobilization unit with two locking units (19, 20), where the unit (20) is associated to a manual operating mechanism e.g. winch, of a rolling shutter. The locking units cooperate with each other by locking along a direction parallel to the plane of the cheek for immobilizing rotation of the mechanism. The unit (19) is placed in extension of a cut that is provided for receiving a bearing. An independent claim is also included for a rolling shutter having a support cheek.
