LOG-IN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, LOG-IN MANAGEMENT DEVICE FOR USE THEREWITH, MEDICAL EXAMINATION APPARATUS, AND PORTABLE UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easier for a user to log in to a medical examination apparatus, while preventing unauthorized users from logging in.

SOLUTION: An authentication key management component 11 authenticates a user and validates an authentication key stored in an authentication key retaining component 21 in a portable unit 2 carried by the user who succeeded in the authentication. The authentication key management component 11 invalidates an authentication key stored in a portable unit 2 carried by a user who should log out. The authentication key management component 11 checks to see whether or not the authentication key stored in the portable unit 2 carried by the user who tries to log in to the medical examination apparatus 3 is valid. An authentication key confirmation component 31 permits the user to log in to the medical examination apparatus 3 when the authentication key management component 11 confirms that the authentication key is valid.
