<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and rapidly provide commodity information in a quick and appropriate way that suits customers. <P>SOLUTION: A customer being dealt with is imaged using a stereo camera 11. Based on the thus obtained image information and previously registered customer information, the customer being dealt with is identified by an ECU 13. Based on the customer information about a specified customer, the commodity information to be provided is selected.
