A multi-layer sheet for the production of printable self-adhesive labels (3) has an adhesive layer (6) over the entire surface of (3) and a second adhesive layer (7) covering parts of (6) so that the adhesive side (5) of the label shows an internal zone of adherence within a peripheral zone of lower adherence. Multi-layer sheet (I) for the formation of self-adhesive labels (3), comprising a protective film (2) and at least one label (3) with a printable side (4) and an adhesive side (5), in which the label(s) comprise(s) an adhesive layer (6) over the entire surface of (3) and a second adhesive layer (7) partly covering (6) so that the adhesive side (5) shows an inner zone of adherence (5A) within a peripheral zone of lower adherence (5B). An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of (I) by assembling a first adhesive film (9) on a printable film (8) to form a first adhesive layer (6), mounting a second adhesive film (11) on a base film (10) to form a second adhesive layer (7) with a coefficient of adhesion (CA) greater than that of (6), mounting layer (7) on a removable protective film, cutting away parts of layer (7), assembling the two adhesive layers (6, 7) with layer (6) fixed to the base film (10) of layer (7), and cutting out layer (6) so as to form label(s) (3) with a cut-out zone covering a part of layer (7) which has not been cut away.
