PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of preventing information from being simply leaked to a third party even when one electronic information device is stolen/discarded or the like by managing a private key used for processing the information by a plurality of electronic information devices while ensuring the convenience of an administrator for managing the electronic information devices and a user utilizing the electronic information devices and to provide a control method thereof and a program. SOLUTION: The information processing system is provided with a first device for storing encrypted information and a second device for storing a decryption key used for decrypting the encrypted information. Then the first or second device decrypts the encrypted information by using the decryption key and temporarily stores the decrypted information to a volatile storage area whose storage information is discarded by power interruption.
