PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the intensity of the static magnetic field formed in an imaging space greatly effects on an image quality by facilitating the adjustment of a static magnetic field for uniformizing a distribution of the static magnetic field in magnetic resonance imaging equipment. SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging equipment is provided with a permanent magnet 102 generating the static magnetic field in the imaging space 11, a magnetic shunt plate 103 disposed with electromagnetic coils 113 adjusting the static magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet 102 into a matrix shape, an electromagnetic coil control part 114 controlling the electromagnetic coil 113 disposed in the magnetic shunt plate 103. The electromagnetic coil 113 disposed into the matrix shape is controlled by an electromagnetic coil control part 114 to adjust the static magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet 102, or a static magnetic field generation source.
