<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a article retrieval system excellent in convenience when going to a store to search for an actual article there based on the article information. <P>SOLUTION: The article retrieval system comprises a non-contact IC tag storing identification information on an article; a read means capable of reading the identification information on the article from the IC tag attached to displayed articles; a storage means for storing article related information including the identification information on the article read by the read means and position information on the position where the read means is installed; a retrieval means for retrieving the article related information conforming to the article retrieval information inputted by a user out of the pieces of article related information stored by the storage means; and a display means for displaying the article related information based on the retrieval result of the retrieval means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
