PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink replenisher and an inkjet recording device that can maintain the density of inks including a K ink, the density of which is difficult to optically detect in an appropriate range and is inexpensive and simple in structure. SOLUTION: The ink replenisher has a means to predict the consumption of an ink, a means to predict the evaporation of the ink, a calculation means to calculate the replenishment quantity of a high-density ink and an ink diluent for every ink in every color on the basis of the result of predictions of the prediction means, a replenishing means to replenish the high density ink and the ink diluent on the basis of the result of the calculation, a means to detect the density of an ink of at least one color, a means to detect the quantity of an ink of at least one color, and a correction means to correct the prediction means on the basis of the results of the detection of the density and quantity of an ink.
