MANUFACTURING METHOD OF MAGNETIC RECORDING TAPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a magnetic recording tape having high reliability in which drop-out and head clogging caused during travelling of a magnetic tape can be reduced. SOLUTION: The magnetic recording tape in which drop-out and head clogging generated during travelling of a magnetic tape from a cassette to a magnetic recording apparatus is reduced can be manufactured by controlling environment of a polish winding apparatus 1 polishing the surface of a magnetic layer of a magnetic tape 2 with a polishing tape 7 and winding a tape on a reel 5 of a cassette 4 to environment in which clean air is made to flow from a pipe 12 through a pre-filter 13 and a HEPA filter 14 and particles of 0.1μm or more are≤100 pieces/ft3.
