PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the input/output control of a server device and a server management device by making it unnecessary to newly procure or lay or connect an interface cable from a portable terminal such as a portable telephone, portable information terminal and a portable personal computer. SOLUTION: A server management device 3 which manages a server device 1 is provided with infrared communication equipment 28, a low output short-range radio communication equipment 30 or a radio LAN communication equipment 32. The input/output control of a server device 1 and a server management device 3 is operated through infrared communication, low output short-range radio communication or radio LAN communication from a portable telephone 70, a portable information terminal 71 or a portable personal computer 72.
