PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood collection needle not only effectively preventing backflow of collected blood on vacuum blood collection but making blood cell destruction in the collected blood hardly occur when the blood is collected. SOLUTION: The blood collection needle to be used for vacuum blood collection comprises a first blood collection needle body 2 to be inserted into a blood vessel of a subject, a second blood collection needle body 3 pierced a stopper body for a vacuum blood collection tube and inserted into an inside of the vacuum blood collection tube, a valve housing member 4 to which the first blood collection needle body 2 and the second blood collection needle body 3 are fixed and made to communicated with each other, a valve member 5 provided on an inside of the valve housing member 4 so that blood can be conducted only to one direction from a blood vessel side to a vacuum blood collection tube side, and a valve supporting body 6 provided on the inside of the valve housing member 4, and fixed with the valve member 5.
