<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting a resistance value by which the resistance value can be adjusted in high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The method for adjusting the resistance value of a resistor 3 provided with a plurality of adjusting parts 6 includes an increasing step where the adjusting part 6 is cut to increase the resistance value of the resistor 3, and a decreasing step where the adjusting part 6 is heated to decrease the resistance value of the resistor 3.
