<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely detect the inundation into a pipe exposed in the sea water, in a submersible machine. <P>SOLUTION: This sensor is provided with the immersion pipe 39, a float 36, the first coil 35b, the second coil 35a, and a control part 40. One end of the immersion pipe 39 is communicated with a pipe 22-1 inside the submersible machine, the other end is closed, and the immersion pipe 39 is extended along a direction having a vertical component. The float 36 is arranged movably inside the immersion pipe 39, and includes a permanent magnet 38. The first coil 35b surrounds a pipe line of the immersion pipe 39, and is provided in a position separated from the other end. The second coil 35a surrounds the pipe line of the immersion pipe 39, and is provided in a position nearer to one end than the first coil 35b. The control part 40 detects the inundation, based on the first current generated when the float 36 passes an inside of the first coil 35b, and based on the second current generated when passing an inside of the second coil 35a, when the float 36 floats in the sea water stayed in the immersion pipe 39 by the inundation into the pipe 22-1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
