PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient door device enhancing food storing performance inside a door and making door opening force laterally equal and small. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, the side face on the non-supported side of biparting type doors 46, 47 provided at an opening of a storage chamber formed at the upper part of a heat insulating box body are provided with partition bodies 68, 69 mounted to frame plates 51, 52, and cylindrical or columnar flexible gaskets 64, 65 are turnably mounted to the outer peripheries of the partition bodies 68, 69. When one or both of the doors 46, 47 are closed, they are always rotated and brought into close contact at the outer peripheral surfaces, and when one or both of the doors 46, 47 are opened, they are always rotated and spaced. Resistance in closing and opening the doors 46, 47 is thereby small, and the doors 46, 47 can be operated to open/close smoothly with small operating force. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
