PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small sized camera which is constituted by properly arranging a finder and an automatic focus detecting mechanism without increasing the height of the camera. SOLUTION: A luminous flux from a photographic lens is reflected to a lateral direction of a body unit 30 by a quick return mirror 31 and reflected to the top direction of the body unit 30 by a second mirror 73 through a half mirror 71 and a screen 72 excluding a portion of the luminous flux. The luminous flux reflected by the second mirror 73 is reflected by a third mirror 74 to the opposite direction with respect to the luminous flux being reflected by the quick return mirror 31 and moreover reflected to an eyepiece side located at the back of the body unit 30 by a fourth mirror. Moreover, a portion of the luminous flux reflected by the half mirror 71 is taken into an AF sensor unit 35 and is used to detect the focusing position of the photographic lens.
