PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure of an awning structure, which is cut in cost by reducing the number of parts and improving workability, the roof structure being formed by straining a single flexible sheet with a predetermined tension, to thereby enhance the appearance thereof. SOLUTION: The roof structure of a carport (awning structure) 1 is formed of supports 2, a roof frame body 4 borne on upper ends of the supports, the single flexible sheet 5 stretched across the roof frame body, and a tensioning mechanism for applying tension to the flexible sheet.
