AGRICULTURAL HEAT-RESISTANT FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide agricultural heat-resistant film excellent in flexibility and heat resistance, and suitable in particular for soil sterilization with steam. SOLUTION: The agricultural heat-resistant film is obtained by blending 60-90 wt.% of an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer and 10-40 wt.% of random polypropylene so as to form broad polypropylene-based film excellent in flexibility and heat resistance due to an inflation method. Also the formed film 10 has good heat-sealing properties because of being obtained by blending the olefine-based thermoplastic elastomer 12 with the random polypropylene 14. The use of reactor-type TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) as the olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer 12 makes the film 10 uniform and thin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
