<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of decreasing a fall in life and noises of a motor without decreasing a throughput by rising time of the motor rotating a polygon mirror. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is connected to a network to which a plurality of image data processing apparatuses are connected, and laser light is modulated by a required image signal outputted from an image signal forming means, and recording of an image is performed by polarizing the modulated laser light by the polygon mirror and scanning a face to be scanned. The image forming apparatus is equipped with a means for acquiring operational information of a plurality of the image data processing apparatuses. A controlling means for controlling rotation of the motor rotating and driving the polygon mirror for scanning the laser beam controls variably the rotating speed of the motor from the information of a plurality of image data processing apparatuses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
