<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower device for suppressing intermittent dripping from a shower head without losing a use feeling of shower discharge by quickly and surely discharging hot water remaining in a water feed pipe, and preventing a user from bathing in cold remaining water in the shower device fixing and installing the shower head in a bathroom and provided with a remaining water treatment mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The shower device comprises the shower head fixed and installed in the bathroom, a hot water mixing device for mixing hot water from a feed water source and a hot water source with the hot water of a desired water discharge temperature and discharging and stopping the hot water by an opening and closing valve, the water feed pipe connecting the shower head and the hot water mixing device, a discharge pipe arranged to be branched from the way of the water feed pipe, and the remaining water treatment mechanism for switching the flow of the hot water in response to the discharge and stoppage of the shower head.
