<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable chapter information to be freely edited or reused to other content information in an easy way by independently managing content information and chapter information which have conventionally been in a relation 1:1. <P>SOLUTION: A method of managing chapter information comprises the steps of: registering an identifier, with which chapter data 1e is associated, in a chapter list 1d, when the chapter data 1e created by a user is recorded; registering the identifier in picture recording information of a picture recording list 1c to associate picture recording data 1a with the chapter data 1e; and replicating an identifier in a second identifier field provided in picture recording information corresponding to the picture recording list 1c after completion of picture recording, when an identifier is specified that is associated with the chapter data 1e, which has already been recorded in the first identifier field provided in picture recording reservation information of a reservation list 1b, to associate the picture recording data 1a with the chapter data 1e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
