PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure of a driving shaft, and a driving shaft used in the waterproof structure, keeping stable waterproof performance over a long period of time to a structure for waterproofing the outer periphery of the driving shaft, easily applied to a small part, and reducing the machining time for the driving shaft. SOLUTION: In the outer surface of the driving shaft 53, the whole periphery of a part where a seal ring 6 comes into contact is subjected to burnishing to the waterproof structure for sealing the periphery of the swing wiper driving shaft 53 with the seal ring 6 to ensure water-tightness of a casing of a transparency sensor.
