Piperidine compounds of formula (I), their salts, isomers, hydrates, isoforms and prodrugs, are new: R1 = H, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkenyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl, 1-2C alkyl 3-6C cycloalkyl, 6-10C aryl or heteroaryl having 5-10 atoms selected from C, S, N and O (the aryl or heteroaryl being optionally substituted by 1 or 2 H, CH3, -(CH2)pCF3, halo, -CONR5R4, -COOR5, -COR5, -(CH2)pNR5R4, etc.; R4, R5 = R1; p and q = 0-2; R18-R24 = H, 1-6C alkyl or 1-6C alkenyl; R2, R3 = H or 1-6 C alkyl; A = a gp. of formula (i)-(vii); R8-R17 = R1; the phenyl ring of each A is optionally substituted by 1 or 2 Z1 or Z2; Z1, Z2 = H, CH3, -(CH2)qCF3, halo, -CONR6R7, etc.; R6, R7 = R1; r = 0-2; Q = 5-6C hydroaryl, heterohydroaromatic having 5 or 6 atoms selected from C, S, N and O, etc.; B = optionally substituted aromatic, heteroaromatic, hydroaromatic, etc.; t = 0-3. |
