PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high output power voltage shifter which can be achieved by adopting a comparatively few high power process elements and is capable of reducing the area of a circuit, and a high output power voltage shifter which does not generate a DC power consuming state when it is in a static state. SOLUTION: This voltage shifter includes an input stage circuit, a current mirror circuit, and a current switch. The input stage circuit includes a first switch and a second switch, and the current mirror circuit is provided with a third switch and a fourth switch. The first switch, the current switch, and the third switch form a current path. When the third switch of the current mirror circuit is in a conductive state, the current path generates a DC current, and the fourth switch of the current mirror circuit generates a current mirror current. The current switch is cut off by the current mirror current, and consequently the generation of a DC current can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
