PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave source position estimating system, capable of accurately estimating in a short time the source position of wave leaking from electronic devices. SOLUTION: The system comprises a scanning antenna 4 for measuring electric field in an observation plane in a certain distance, a calibrating antenna 9 arranged inside or in the vicinity of estimation region assuming electronic devices, a calibration signal generator 10, data calculating means 11 for calibration for maintaining electric field distribution data in the observation plane, measured during emitting the calibration signal and its correction data, and a calculation indicating means 8 for estimating the wave source position by expanded SPM method, by using the electric field distribution data and correction data and the electric field distribution data measured in the observation plane for the object of the electronic devices. Since the phase correction value and the amplitude correction value in the receiver system are obtained in advance, by radiating calibration signal from the antenna, phase matching during wave source estimation is unnecessary.
