A system and method for simulating log siding on a building. In particular, a pass corner siding piece (28) and a butt corner siding piece (30) are provided that can be attached on the same plane on opposing sides of a corner (12) of a building to simulate a butt and pass log corner (26). The butt corner siding piece (28) and pass corner siding piece (30) can be joined to provide additional strength to the siding. Additionally, an outer corner log siding piece is provided to simulate a vertical post log corner. A straight siding piece (31) can also be provided to simulate a log look along the sides (14, 16) of the building (10). A channel siding piece (91) can also be provided to provide a finished log look around a building opening. |
