PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player capable of improving usability by simplifying a skip operation when desired information is reproduced from an optical disk. SOLUTION: For example, when a skipup key A is pressed for a long time because of a skip request from a user, a key determination means 221 determines that a skip key is a skipup key, and a key long-pressing determination means 222 determines that the skipup key A is pressed for a long time. Then, when e.g., a number key e, is pressed to select skipping up to the reproduction start position of information desired by the user, a number key detection means 223 detects the number of this number key e. Subsequently, a skip processing means 224 skips up the reproduction start position by an amount equal to the detected number "5" of the number key e.
