An oil filtration system includes three separate tanks (1,2,3) that may each contain heaters (7,8,9). A first of these tanks (1) is to receive oil from a wheel motor of the mining or construction vehicle. A second of these tanks ( 2) receive the oil from the first tank (1) after the oil in the first tank (1) has been suffficiently heated so as to remove moisture therefrom. And, a thi rd of these tanks (3) receive the oil from the second tank (2) after the oil ha s been sufficiently filtered (4) so as to remove particles and debris therefro m. The third tank (3) can hold the filtered oil therein until it is ready to be supplied back to the wheel motor.
