PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize operability improvement and misinput prevention, during inputting of a plurality of setting items on the screen of a programmable display unit.

SOLUTION: An HMI processing part 31 which controls display, input operation, etc., of the programmable display unit is equipped with an input control part 31b. This input control part 31b accepts input to an area, where input display units such as a plurality of set value display units are arranged on a user screen displayed on the programmable display unit, according to order previously set in previously set group units. Such a group is set by a drawing editor installed in a host computer. Consequently, since input to areas of input display units of unselected groups is inhibited, wrong input to an area of an input display unit, to which input should not be made, will not occur. Further, operation for switching acceptance of input can be omitted, even for an area where input is not necessary.
