PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower humidity in a cargo compartment and to restrain occurrence of bedewing by providing an area easy to bedew on a ceiling to avoid dropping of bedewed water passing through the inside of a side wall from the ceiling to be bedewed most. SOLUTION: This box type cargo compartment device 1 is provided with a side wall interior material 4 and a ceiling interior material 5 having heat insulating function on the inside of a side wall outer plate 2 and a ceiling outer plate 3 of the box type cargo compartment 9 to be loaded on an under carriage, an exposed part 3a to make the ceiling outer plate 3 directly face against the cargo compartment 9 by cutting out a peripheral edge part of the ceiling interior material 5 in the neighborhood above the side wall interior material 4 along the material 4 is formed and a draining means 10 to receive the bedewed water W dropping from the exposed part 3a is provided in the cargo compartment 9 in the neighborhood of the exposed part 3a.
