<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side door glass collecting method and device capable of collecting side door glass easily without causing inclusion of foreign matter. <P>SOLUTION: The side door glass collecting device 11 is equipped with a covering part 12 to cover the side door glass 1 on both the outside and inside surfaces, a collection part 13 continued to the covering part 12 and provided with an opening 13a for collection of glass splinters when the glass 1 is crushed, and an engaging means 15 to engage the opening 13a with a door trim 14 along its upper part. Setting the collecting device 11 is made by engaging the opening 13a with the door trim 14 along its upper part, to be ended by putting the covering part 12 on the side door glass 1. The glass 1 is crushed by beating it from above the covering part 12. Those of the glass splinters which are prevented from splashing by the covering part 12, are solely collected through the opening 13a into the collection part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
