PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher for chaff of simple structure that can be manufactured at a low cost and crush chaff efficiently. SOLUTION: The crusher for chaff has following structure. A high-speed rotary blade 22 composed of a cross arrangement of 4 blades is installed at the bottom of a low and cylindrical crushing chamber 21. A supply port connected to a supplying system 1 is located eccentrically from the center of the rotary blade. A discharge port is located at about 270 degrees from the location of the supply port in the direction of rotation of the rotary blade at the bottom of the crushing chamber 21. A discharge pipe 32 connected to the discharge port is inclined at 48 to 52 degrees in the vertical direction to increase its inside diameter gradually. The discharge pipe is subjected to a reduced pressure to discharge chopped chaff by being connected at a slant to an exhaust pipe 33 to be used for pneumatic conveying. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
