PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time necessary for backing up of a plurality of data sets into a plurality of output media. SOLUTION: A control task 10 starts up a designated number of processing tasks 21-2n. At that time, the control task 10 transmits to the processing task 2k (k = 1, 2, etc., n), a data set to be initially backed up among the data sets 3k to be backed up by the processing task 2k and the output medium 4k that is an output destination of the backup by the processing task 2k. Thereby, the processing task 2k backs up the data set to be initially backed up into the output medium 4k, selects a data set unexecuted with the backup, and similarly backs up the data set into the output medium 4k.
