PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the processing speed of transaction according to the combination of a database server and the other computer. SOLUTION: This transaction processing system is provided with a database server 1, a plurality of AP servers 2 connected to the database server 1 and a plurality of clients 3 for transmitting transaction to any of the plurality of AP servers 2. The plurality of AP servers 2 are respectively provided with a memory 21, a transaction processing part 22 for accepting transaction transmitted from any of the plurality of clients 3, and for outputting a reply to the transaction, a DB access processing part 23 for instructing the reading of data to a database management system 11 on the database server 2, and for instructing the update of the data based on the contents of the accepted transaction, a memory management part 24 for storing the read data in the memory 21 and a data processing part 25 for executing predetermined processing to the data stored in the memory 21 based on the contents of the accepted transaction.
