PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser range finder facilitating an action of a user to cause detection parts to make turning motion and an action to aim at a laser irradiation point with respect to two-point distance measurement by causing the two detection parts to make turning motion on the same plane normal to a rotation axis. SOLUTION: The two detection parts 1 and 2 are rotatably and independently provided, the detection parts 1 and 2 comprising irradiation parts 3, 4, 5, and 6 for irradiating laser light, and light receiving parts 7, 8, 9, and 10 for receiving reflected light of irradiated light from a measuring object. The respective rotation axes A1 of the detection parts 1 and 2 are on a same axis and make turning motion on a same plane normal to the rotation axes. The irradiation parts are disposed so that light projection axes B and C of laser light by the irradiation parts 1 and 2 are on a same plane parallel to turning-motion planes of the detection parts 1 and 2 with the rotation axes A1 used as rotation centers.
