The slide door opening/closing device having the slide guide mechanism guiding the sliding operation of the door panel by constraining the sliding direction of the door panel is characterized in that the slide guide mechanism comprises rails and a traveling body running on the rails, and at least a part of the rails is rotatably pivoted so that the connected position thereof to the other rail can be switched over. Since the layout of the rails of the slide guide mechanism can be changed by the rotation of the rails, the opening/closing of the door panel can be smoothly performed despite the fact that the structure of the slide guide mechanism is simplified.
