<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic cap with a vent function capable of automatically releasing the internal pressure out of a container without opening the cap when the internal pressure excessively rises. <P>SOLUTION: The plastic cap consists of a top plate section and a skirt-like sidewall hanging from the periphery of the top plate section, and has an inner ring for forming a seal in tight contact with the internal surface of a container neck and an outer ring in tight contact with the external surface of the container neck formed.
