PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly reduce the pulse pressure of a discharge port without being affected by the turbulence generated at a position adjacent to a pump main body. SOLUTION: An engine drive continuously changes increasing and decreasing the volume of a plurality of pump chambers 14 to discharge oil sucked from a suction port 15 into the discharge port 16. In such an oil pump 1, a throttle 21 is installed in the discharge port 16 as a straightening part, and a chamber 18 for reducing the pulse pressure is installed downstream side of the throttle 21. The pulse pressure in the oil is reduced by the chamber 18 in the state in which the turbulence is eliminated at the throttle 21 part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
