PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of simply adjusting the tension in a belt stretched over a driving pulley and a driven pulley to constitute a power transmission mechanism of an electric motor by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: In the electric power steering device 10, the rotational force of a driving pulley 22 connected to an electric motor 20 is transmitted to a rack shaft 14 via a power transmission mechanism including a driven pulley 36. The driving pulley 22 is supported by a gear housing 11 via an adjustment collar 40, and the adjustment collar 40 comprises an outer circumference supporting part 40A supported by the gear housing 11 and an inner circumference supporting part 40B to support the driving pulley 22. A supporting center of the inner circumference supporting part 40B is arranged in an offset manner with respect to a supporting center of the outer circumference supporting part 40A, and the mounting angular position around the supporting center of the outer circumference supporting part 40A of the adjustment collar 40 is supported in an adjustable manner with respect to the gear housing 11.
