<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved vehicle emergency brake device. <P>SOLUTION: In this method and a device, this brake device is designed to have at least a first control device (100) to control a first brake force in at least one wheel brake of wheels (110, 112, 114 and 116) of a vehicle and at least one of pressure accumulating device (180, 182, 184 and 186) to receive a pressurizing medium. The first brake force is generated by first hydraulic pressure and/or a pneumatic component. The filling of the medium into the pressure accumulating device is performed by relative motion between at least a vehicle and a vehicle chassis, independently from the first hydraulic pressure and/or the pneumatic component.
