PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce force and energy required for pressing a movable rod (a sliding rod or a revolving rod) to the inner surface of a casing by reducing the force for pressing the rod to the inner surface. SOLUTION: This screen changer for the fluid includes a casing main body having a movable rod hole for guiding the columnar movable rod so as to make the same movable and the inlet passage and outlet passage piercing the rod hole, the movable rod inserted in the movable rod hole in a freely movable manner and having a movable passage and the bottomed filter cylinder inserted in the movable passage. The bottomed filter cylinder has a reinforcing porous cylinder, the screen covering the same and the bottom member provided to one end of the screen, and the bottomed filter cylinder is inserted in the movable passage on its bottom side so as to be positioned on the inlet side of the movable passage. The anti-bottom side of the bottomed filter cylinder is attached to the movable passage in a freely detachable manner. Further, a porous plate and the screen are inserted in the movable passage and a cap with an opening is attached to the movable passage in a freely detachable manner.
