PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve guide structure capable of suppressing deterioration of a valve guide even when applying stress in the radial direction above a shaft part of a valve. SOLUTION: In this valve guide structure supporting the shaft part 2 of the valve 1 on an inner peripheral face of the valve guide 16 and regulating travel direction of the valve 1, a recessed part 18 extending downward along the shaft part 2 of the valve 1 from an upper end of the valve guide 16 and forming a clearance between the valve guide 16 and the shaft part 2 of the valve 1 is formed on the inner peripheral face of the valve guide 16.
