PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of a solid electrolytic capacitor by which the occurrence of a characteristic defect due to a connection variation between a capacitive element and an anode/cathode COM terminal can be solved and a product superior in connection reliability can stably be supplied. SOLUTION: In the method for determining the quality of the connection state of the capacitive element and the anode/cathode COM terminal, an AC voltage is applied to the anode/cathode COM terminal, electrostatic capacities in at least two different frequencies are measured, a capacity change is obtained by comparing measured values, and a result is compared with a previously set reference value. Since the connection state of the capacitive element and the anode/cathode COM terminal in the product whose assembling is finished is securely grasped and quality can be determined, the solid electrolytic capacitor superior in connection reliability can stably be supplied.
