Flexible, unfoldable preform comprising a thermosettable composition

A radially unfoldable preformer for the forming of hardenable tubular structures after placing in a well or channelling comprises an epoxide resin formed from a polyepoxide having at least two epoxide groups and an aromatic polyamine having at least two prim. amine groups and at least one 1-12C alkyl substituents alpha to one of the amine groups. The molar ratio of amine to epoxide is such that to every amine group there corresponds 1.6-2.6 epoxide groups. Also claimed are new thermo-hardenable compositions and their uses.
