METAL CAN FOR BEVERAGE HAVING COATING FILM WITH THREE-DIMENSIONALLY LARGE IRREGULARITY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal can for beverage having a coating film with a large coating film strength and a three-dimensionally large irregularity on the outer face of a body part of the metal can and having a rigidity on its projected parts, and also to provide a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the metal can for the beverage includes: coating the outer face of the body part of the metal can with a thermosetting coating containing resin beads with a mean particle diameter in a range of 1-3-fold of a coating film thickness after baking and drying and with a compounding ratio of 2-20 wt.%; forming a coating film face with an irregularity by baking and drying; then, printing on the irregular coating film face; and applying a varnish coating thereon.
