<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a hot rolled steel sheet which can decide a crop cutting position suitable from the viewpoint of quality and yield for each rough rolled bar, while quality and yield are taken into account at the time of cutting a crop at the head and tail of the rough rolled bar, and to provide a hot rolling equipment to apply the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the hot rolled steel sheet, when cutting the crops at the head and tail of the rough rolled bar prior to finish rolling by a finish rolling mill, surface defects are measured in the head and tail parts of the rough rolled bar before cutting the crop. The manufacturing method of the hot rolled steel sheet is characterized in that cutting of the crop at the head and tail parts of the rough rolled bar is performed taking into account the cutting length of the crop decided by the measured results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
