PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser oscillator using an electroluminescent material capable of increasing the oscillation efficiency of a laser beam and capable of suppressing a power consumption thereof. SOLUTION: The luminescent device possesses a luminous element comprising a first electrode having a recess, an electroluminescent layer functioning as a laser medium formed on the first electrode so as to be overlapped on the recess, and a second electrode formed on the electroluminescent layer so as to be overlapped on the recess, a laser beam is oscillated from the second electrode by allowing the light generated in the electroluminescent layer to be resonated between the first electrode and the second electrode, the optical axis of the laser beam intersects with the second electrode, the first electrode has a curved surface on the recess, and the center of the curvature of the curved surface is constructed so as to be present on the side of the second electrode.
