FLAME-RETARDANT CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally friendly curable resin composition having excellent heat resistance, mechanical characteristics and electrical characteristics and high levels of flame retardance, mechanical characteristics and stability of the electrical characteristics without containing a halogen compound. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant curable resin composition is composed of a curable resin, a polyphenylene ether resin and an organophosphorus compound. The basis of the flame-retardant curable resin composition is that the polyphenylene ether resin assumes a form in which the polyphenylene ether resin is dispersed in a particle state having ≤10 μm average particle diameter in the continuous phase of the curable resin.
