<p>The feed automatically applies glue to the edge of a panel, this being either flat or curving in one or more directions, e.g. a motor vehicle windscreen. The panel edge is passed in front of a gluing unit pressing against it to deposit a strip of glue. The unit is permanently interlocked with the drive rotating the panel, so that the strip of glue is deposited at a constant distance from the panel edge and to a constant pattern. In addition to turning of the panel about an axis, its angle in relation to this axis can be varied.</p> |
